School Notes:
For forty years, Briarcrest Christian School has been recognized in the Memphis region for its unique combination of academic excellence and Christian education. Beginning at the preschool level, our commitment is to educate the total student and to help young men and women achieve full potential in all realms of life. Programs for kindergarten through Grade 8 were begun in 1973, and a program for Grades 9-12 was added in 1974. The school is dually-accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and Southern Association of Independent Schools. Briarcrest is also a member of the Association of Christian Schools International, Tennessee Association of Independent Schools, Memphis Association of Independent Schools, and the College Board. Briarcrest Christian School is a non-denominational educational institution in which conservative Christian values and morals are taught and practiced in every aspect of school life. All students attend chapel services, study the Bible, and are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
