School Notes Overview:
Our goal at Pierian Springs is to allow students in grades 6-12 to excel as individuals in an environment that is creative, nurturing, philosophical, and diverse. We are accredited by the state of Georgia and able to provide students with flexible schedules similar to that of a college. Our students select classes to meet their personal interests and graduation requirments; most classes meet two times a week on a semester basis. This enables time in the day for our students to pursue training and work in the arts, sports, community service, joint enrollment and internships. Many of our students are gifted and 85 percent of our faculty have advanced degrees with several teaching at local universities. We welcome students of all races and religions and creeds. Our primary requirement is that students are respectful and fully committed to academic and personal excellence....
