Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, A Solomon Schechter School

3662 Crown Point Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32257
The Martin J. Gottlieb Day School, part of the Schechter Day School Network, is recognized as one of the regions's leading institutions for cutting-edge learning.  Students are rarely found simply sitting at desks listening to lectures.  Students are active participants in the learning process.  They create, explore, and make decisions that affect their education.  That leads to more growth and more accountability.

Our K-8th grade classes offer a challenging dual track of gneral and Judaic studies that combines the timeless traditions and valudes of Judasim with experiential hands-on learning.  Our school is accredited by the Florida Council of Independent Schools and is affiliated with the National Association of Independent Schools, the National Junior Honor Society, and more. Our class size is controlled, ensuring that your child will receive individual attention and guidance with outstanding opportunities for academic, social, and spiritual growth.  Since 1961, the school has been committed to innovating education and living tradition.

School Reviews:

  • Recommended September 08,2012 - This program is like no other. Students and faculty become a family through the warmth and love that is shown through its "Community of Kindness" program. Academics are stellar - students are learning 21st Century Skills (blogs, digital media, global literacy, etc.) that are only touched upon in the high school level and only in those magnet high schools or academies that specialize in Technology and Media Literacy. Students leave MJGDS prepared for high school, and even more importantly, are guided during the Middle School years to prepare for the high school of their choice. 100% of students who qualify are accepted in AICE or IB programs that they apply to.*-Posted by Parent *
