School Notes:

  • SBCS operates on an 8-hour school days with elementary students receiving instruction in core subjects of math, English, social studies, science and Bible.  Additional instruction is provided in reading, writing, music, art, drama, business and foreign language.  Middle and high school students receive instruction in core subjects of math, English, social studies, science, and Bible.  Additional instruction is provided in computers, business, foreign languages, choir, band, Microsoft Office, keyboarding, creative writing as well as math and science labs. The educational philosophy of SBCS is based on a Christ-centered view of truth and man as presented in God's Word.  We believe that the entire educational process is a means that can be used by the Holy Spirit to bring students into fellowship with God, helping them to stand with boldness,  develop a Christian mind, train them in "Christlikeness," and help them develop character that will enable them to fulfill God's total purpose for their lives personally and vocationally.  The authority for such an education comes from God's  command that children be taught to love God and place Him first in their lives and from the fact that parents are responsible for the total education and training of their children.  At your request, SBCS will become a partner in giving this education.

School Reviews

Small class size, structured, controlled environment - all of this makes SBCS an ideal learning environment. The kids have fun, the staff cares about the academic and spiritual condition of every child...that makes all of the difference!!
