School Notes:

  • In a nutshell, we combine a focus of academics, physical health, and a sense of who the student is and what they stand for, into curricula that prepares the student for the next phase of his or her life.  We teach each student starting at the skil level they are at; not by lumping them all into 'grade level' work.  At ATA, we use, primarily, a workshop method of education.  Short mini-lessons directed to the larger group, with research and individual student exploration followed by a time of sharing new knowledge gained.
