Newmark School in Plainfield (serving grades K-8) and Newmark High School in Carteret (serving grades 9-12) are state-approved, private schools for children with learning disabilities and behavioral disorders. At the Newmark Schools we pride ourselves on creating an intimate, family-like environment where our students¡¯ individual needs are met and they are challenged both academically and socially. Our unique educational system encourages students to work to their full potential and makes them happier, more confident, and more productive both at school and in their everyday lives. Education at the Newmark Schools is based on structure and discipline. Each student receives an individually-tailored academic plan with appropriate educational material and learning tools for their level, delivered by highly trained staff members that understand and cater to the unique learning challenges our students face. All learning takes place in a small, calm, and quiet classroom environment.
