School's mission is to provide students with a firm foundation in Jewish and secular learning promoting individual and social development in an atmosphere of joy, warmth and intellectual stimulation.
We seek to lay the groundwork for our children to become proud and knowledgeable Jews, and responsible and productive citizens.
We strive to foster in our students respect for themselves and for others, an appreciation for diversity and a deep sense of connection to Jewish values, heritage and history.
The Knoxville Jewish Day School was created with many goals in mind.
First and foremost is to focus on each child as an individual by keeping a low student/teacher ratio.
Each student is challenged to aspire to the heights of his/her own academic capabilities, and is encouraged along the paths of artistic, physical, spiritual and social development and expression.
