St. Joseph Elementary School student William Keane, 13, has worked his own lemonade stand for years during the Mayor's Fourth of July Parade. Not this year. Alameda High School senior Anjuli Sastry, 16, usually stands along the parade route cheering on her friends riding on floats at the event. - Local heroes to be honored at awards breakfast (Contra Costa Times)
