Mifflin County Christian Academy was established in 1986 with 24 students. MCCA is under the ministry of Bible Baptist Church. In 2004, MCCA branched out and became an Independent Christian school. MCCA is housed in the former decatur public school building located on back maitland road. Surrounding the school building is almost 10 acres of land with ball fields, playground, and plenty of room for growth.
