School's mission is to provide an accessible quality catholic education serving families in the diocese of Corpus Christi. The creation of John Paul II High School is the vision and inspiration of bishop edmond carmody. As a catholic school, we provide a unique environment in which students can experience the presence of the holy spirit. Its focus is on the individual person's spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, cultural and physical development. Recognizing the varied backgrounds and abilities of our students, John Paul II High School provides a college preparatory education requiring diligence, rigor and consistent effort in order to develop each student's personal potential for scholastic achievement. In their course work, students engage in the pursuit of excellence and learn to become critical thinkers.
