The School of Saint Leo the Great is a parish school dedicated to a philosophy of education that works to serve its families in their primary responsibility to educate their children. We recognize the dignity of each person and the equal right to an education and foster the development of the whole child. The School of Saint Leo the Great, an educational ministry of the Church of Saint Leo the Great, is a pre-kindergarten to eighth grade Roman Catholic elementary School. This parochial school serves Oakland and surrounding communities and is open to families of any faith who accept its philosophy and mission. We work with families in their primary responsibility to educate their children by providing a strong academic curriculum and a rich extracurricular program.
