St Luke Lutheran School

905 Mendocino Avenue, Santa Rosa, CA, 95401-0954
St. Luke Lutheran School is a co-educational academic community serving preschool through grade eight students. St. Luke Lutheran School provides a quality education in a nurturing and Christ centered environment. St. Luke School touches and changes young lives spiritually, academically, emotionally, socially and culturally. St. Luke School strives for academic excellence in its curriculum, instruction and programs as it seeks to assist families in the spiritual, academic, social and emotional development of their children. We endeavor to develop the student's thinking, reasoning and communication skills enabling them to go beyond the curriculum. We consider the task of teaching our students "how to learn" important as it empowers them to keep pace with the rapid social and technological changes of our society. The St. Luke faculty strives to develop a positive atmosphere in which our students develop self discipline, experience their special status as God's own and are accepted by their teachers and peers. We use disciplinary procedures which protect the integrity of the classroom for both the teacher and learner, teach students responsible behavior, emphasize repentance and forgiveness and allow students to retain their innate dignity at all times. We promote, through the application of God's Word to daily life, a school community that believes in respect, thoughtfulness and empathy for others. We seek to develop an awareness of the Christian's role within the larger community.

Make Summer a Special Time! Make Summer a Special Time!
If you have children in private school, then you are most likely looking at three months, perhaps even longer, which you must fill with activities of one kind or another during the long summer break.

Are You Liable? Are You Liable?
Is your DEL key about to get gaveled? It doesn't matter whether you teach in a public or private school setting. You expose yourself to legal risks every single day on the job.
