Odyssey Montessori follows an approach to education that has existed for more than 100 years, yet supports development of 21st century skills.
Montessori education, far from being limited to the younger child, offers students of all ages the opportunity to learn and express themselves in highly individualized and meaningful ways.
This learning environment allows for a deeper and richer experience, one in which creativity, spontaneity, responsibility, and a desire to learn are cultivated.
At Odyssey Montessori, our students open the door to the future by opening their minds.
We serve students ages 2.5 to 18.
 Our school is a non-sectarian, 501 (c) (3) organization and was founded in 2001.

School Reviews

  • Recommended January 31, 2013 - I have two children at Odyssey and they are very happy there, excited to go to school each day. They are given freedom within boundaries, the whole child is educated ( social, emotional and academically ). It is not about memorization and regurgitation...no repetitive worksheets, minimal if any homework . My 8 year old is inspired and learning is fun. Lots of great extras - Mad Science, Engineering for Kids, and Drama for Elementary students, lots of field trips, art, Spanish and music! I wish I could have gone to school there as a child! - Posted by Parent
  • Recommended January 31, 2013 - I have 2 very different children. One child is socially outgoing and quick to pick up concepts while the other child is socially anxious and difficult to engage. OM has been a perfect solution for both our children. Our advanced child is leaping ahead and tackling new subjects every day. Our anxious child gets the nurturing environment needed to boost his confidence and approach his schoolwork with enthusiasm rather than fear. Both our kids love the school and the staff has been a blessing for our family. - Posted by Parent
  • Recommended October 27, 2012 - Odyssey is a small school, but it offers so much. My daughter has attended since she was 3. She has learned so much and the school feels like a real community. They have music, art, drama, running club, there are 17 field trips planned for the 2012-13 school year (elementary students and secondary students). The teachers really care about the students. - Posted by Parent
