Thales Academy is a K-12 college preparatory private chain of schools in North Carolina. The school's mission is to develop students with excellent academic and interpersonal skills through a curriculum infused with the values of our Founding Fathers and grounded by the Judeo-Christian and Greco-Roman heritage of Western Civilization. Thales Academy assists parents in cultivating virtuous, critical-thinking, compassionate student citizens by fostering high standards of accountability, academic achievement, and civic responsibility through the use of Direct Instruction, discipline, and standard dress code.   • Recommended April 28,2013 - We have attended Thales Academy for 2 years. We have a 4th and 6th grader. The school has met and exceeded our expectations on multiple levels. Academically our children have both excelled. At times they are challenged and have needed help, but they always receive help right away if they are falling behind. It''s a great sized school with under 500 students. There is a lot of personal attention given. The communication with the teachers and administrators is so fluid and prompt. The drama, chorus, and band programs are excellent. We''ve been very happy at this school and highly recommend it.*-Posted by Parent *
