Our teachers use an academically rigorous curriculum as a foundation, and draw from their own expertise and experiences to engage the children in an adventure of learning and exploration. Students at St. Mary’s Catholic Elementary School become active members of a Christian community who live according to the message of the Gospels and Church Traditions. St. Mary’s Catholic School has WASC accreditation with California Credentialed teachers. The teachers and administration have begun work on the 2002, WCEA/WASC accreditation, Process for School Improvement for Catholic Elementary Schools, with a new mission statement, philosophy and student learning expectations for St. Mary’s students. This will be an ongoing process for the next year that will help us provide the best academic and spiritual education for our students in this new millennium....
