Hunt Ridge Montessori School

834 Brookside Dr, Fairfield, CT, 06824-0203
The Hunt Ridge Montessori School first opened our doors in september, 1983. When we welcomed six children to their first day of school. Today, we are delighted to teach 85 children each day based on the principles set forth by maria montessori. Maria montessori discovered that young children exhibit sensitive periods or a strong sensitivity to particular exercises and objects during various stages of their development. This interest produces in the child an immense amount of intellectually directed activity. The activity brings about the acquisition of that particular knowledge or skill which the child then masters quite easily.
