St. Rose Catholic school recognizes the uniqueness of each child through a student-centered curriculum. We promote high academic standards of excellence extending beyond the basic mastery of content skills to a higher level of critical thinking and life-long learning. Through the integration of Catholic values into the secular curriculum, students develop and apply Catholic teachings and critical thinking skills to their everyday lives. The school is recognized as an educational leader with high academic standards. All full time faculty members are fully credentialed through the California State Commission on Teacher Credentialing. Many of our faculty hold graduate level degrees. All Saint Rose Catholic School staff members are required to complete continuing education course work each year to maintain their employment. The primary goal of the development department is to coordinate on going efforts in a goal oriented approach, to answering the future needs of our students and their school. Headed by parent volunteer Martin Hurwitz, the Development Department oversees Scrip, The Challenge Drive,The Annual Barbeque, The Annual Dinner Auction, The Wine Country Runs, The Scholarship Drive, Alumni Development, Grant Writing and Planned Giving.
