Almaden Prep is a private elementary and middle school located in San Jose's Almaden Valley. We believe that a quality school teaches the "whole child" and not just that portion that is academic. For that reason, we offer a well-rounded educational experience for our children. Almaden Preparatory strongly believes that a child's success in school is a result of shared responsibility between the parent and the school. Academics, personal development, study-skills, and self-esteem are fostered through the combined efforts of student, teacher, and parent. Independence and self-reliance are a goal for all students at Almaden Preparatory. Cooperation and team-work are imperative in order to produce excellent results. It is our belief that a quality school teaches the "whole child" and not just that portion which is academic.
