UCS Mission Statement: We exist to educate and equip students, integrating academic excellence with a Christian World View, preparing them to impact their community for Jesus Christ.
UCS is accreditated through the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), Association of Christian Schools, International (ACSI), and CITA (International).
We have just completed a new high school building located on Euclid Ave with 14 classrooms, Media Center (library and computers), Science and Art labs, and Smartboard technology in every classroom. Our new 300 seat amphitheater will be used for performances and other activities. Our high school offers a rigorous College Prep program with AP and Honors classes.
Our Junior High offers many opportunities during this time with trips to Washington D.C. for the 8th graders and an oceanography trip for 7th grade, while 6th grade travels to space camp. Emphasis is placed on preparing the student for high school and advanced education. Through the elective program students have the opportunity to be in choir, art, home economics, computers and various exploratory courses. Spiritual Growth includes the 6th grade studying Old Testament Heroes, 7th grade studies the Life of Christ, and 8th grade studies the New Testament Church. We offer a complete list of very competitive sports for both boys and girls. Our Elementary school develops young people sound in academics and well rounded in many other areas. We teach our students how to connect their knowledge into a coherent Christian understanding of the world. Though this process, students are led to increase their love for God and neighbor. More information on the elementary classes are located on our school website (also Junior and Senior High Schools). ...read more
