At Little Friends Montessori School each child is treated with dignity and respect. We have a positive approach to discipline providing freedom within limits. Children develop inner discipline and become responsible for their own behavior. Children learn to be kind and loving to express feelings in a positive way, and to listen. We have many social events and other activities for your child to learn how to interact socially with others. A caring and nurturing environment for your child during his/her early years, A structured program to lay a strong foundation in his/her formative years for developing into a responsible, happy and fulfilled adult. The classroom is a pleasant prepared environment with carefully designed Montessori materials that meet a child's natural needs. Montessori materials are self-correcting, designed to prepare the child for future learning and they begin as an concrete experience of an idea which gradually becomes more and more abstract presentations. They aid the growth of a child by providing the stimuli that capture the attention of the child and initiates a process of concentration. In fact , the first essential ingredient for a child's development is concentration.
