School Notes Overview: |
Media Center Montessori Pre-Schools are privately owned facilities, dedicated to nurturing the whole child, and enabling them to create within themselves the joy and love of learning. We are committed to our goal of helping each child to realize his/her fullest potential, and to best achieve this, we use the Montessori approach to education. Our classrooms provide an environment prepared to meet and respond to a child's needs, interests, abilities, and possibilities. The wide variety of materials and our Montessori trained staff allows for each child to work at their own pace, in groups of no more than 12 children per teacher. The Montessori curriculum also includes the sciences, geography, history, multicultural studies, arts and crafts, music and movement, and drama. Our teachers closely observe each child and include specific activities that will enhance concentration, communication skills, and creativity. ...read more
