School Notes Overview: |
Our purpose is equipping the children of Highlands Baptist Church through Christ-centered education for a lifetime of fruitful service for our Lord. The school is only an extension of the home, and is completely dependent on the home to provide a continuum of Biblical training. A demand for academic excellence grows out of the desire for spiritual excellence, and can never be an end in itself. The growth of God's work in a life begins with the prepared soil of a heart, and that is seen by the teachability, servanthood, zeal, and industry of the student. These fruits are best produced through the cooperative effort of the home, church, and school as they plant, water, fertilize, prune, and cultivate the impressionable soil of the heart. The ultimate goal for each of our students is to see them in leadership in a local church within ten years of their graduation from Highlands Baptist Academy. ...read more
