It looked like an ordinary day on the Broomfield Academy playground. Kids were jumping ropes, shooting baskets, running around and having fun -- things adults sometimes forget to do. Students at Broomfield Academy recently raised $1,638 to aid research in diseases that affect children battling cancer and other catastrophic childhood diseases.
