The Renaissance Academy

Renaissance Academy is a private school located in Colorado Springs, Colorado that educates children from their preschool years through eighth grade. Founded in 1993, Renaissance Academy is a recognized leader in gifted education. Our NCA (North Central Association) accredited school offers a unique gifted education program. Renaissance Academy’s unique philosophy prepares students for the future by balancing the child’s intellectual, social, and emotional development. Our program creates an experiential, structured, loving, analysis-oriented, and intellectually stimulating environment that invites students into a process of self-discovery. The Academy, at the same time, engenders a sense of social responsibility by encouraging students to recognize and use their gifts in constructive ways. Our goal is to contribute to our students’ growth by providing a superior, well-rounded education that maximizes each child’s academic potential, develops their special gifts, and gives them the life skills necessary for success.
