Seton Academy
School Notes Overview:
At Seton Academy our primary responsibility is to the student. Our mission is to provide special education and therapeutic services in a small, supportive setting with caring and professional faculty and staff. We are committed to giving students the opportunity to experience success by working closely with them, their parents, guardians, school systems and ancillary professionals. Once students have achieved sustained success, we will participate in a plan to help them transition into a school setting that meets their academic, social and emotional needs and abilities. The goal of Seton Academy is to reintegrate students with their community schools. The program offers academic and therapeutic supports that are tailored to the needs of the student. These supports include the evaluation of existing assessments, the identification of treatment and counseling needs, guidance in connecting with outside support services for the continuance of care, assistance in mastering various skills necessary for appropriate social behavior and peer interactions, and the implementation of an educational program based on IEP goals and objectives....
