At The Hans Christian Andersen Montessori School children learn to explore, question, and enjoy the wonder of learning. We encourage each child to discover their amazing and unique abilities. We are an affiliated member of the American Montessori Society and licensed by the State of Connecticut. Our programs run four and five days per week, full and part time. We also have an extended-care morning program and lunch program available. All Hans Christian Andersen Montessori Schoolteachers are Montessori trained and teach HCAMS Students as a Teaching Team. Our student to teacher ratios are 10 : 1. Our Head Teacher is Montessori Certified, holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Education.
