Still, it''s a very warm community where kids get to know their teachers well and they are genuinely nice to each other and support each other. It has since become the most popular musical in the world. Having more than 43,000 professional performances worldwide, the show has a total audience figure of more than 55 million people.Taft theater and film teacher Richard Doyle described student's dedication for these productions as "intensely passionate." Taft's production was a full scale affair. Featuring a 24-foot diameter rotating stage, first-rate costumes, advanced lighting effects and incredibly realistic props?all contribute to making it a remarkable experience."After all," says Doyle.
