Westover School, located in a classic New England town ninety miles from New York City, is a selective boarding and day school with 210 girls from 19 countries and 18 states. With over twenty AP's as well as signature programs in science, engineering, art history, and music, we prepare our students to meet the academic challenges of both the world and the world's best colleges. We prepare our students to meet the challenges of the world's top colleges. Accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, Westover has a dynamic and diverse student body of 210 girls from 18 states and 19 countries, with plenty of course and extracurricular offerings to encourage students to expand thinking and problem solving skills in a rigorous, yet collaborative learning environment. Westover is a community of scholars and a gathering of students and teachers whose shared efforts and goals result in a broad, deep, and durable education. Westover offers three special programs: WISE (Women in Science and Engineering), a co-curricular program with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute; a dance program with Brass City Ballet; and a music program with the Manhattan School of Music. In addition to our special programs, Westover offers formal exchanges with schools in Australia, England, France, Jordan, South Africa, and Spain.
