School Notes Overview: |
The Burlington Academy of Learning is a school for young children offering a complete environment where children and families are welcomed and supported.
The Academy offers exceptional programs including a Nursery School, Prekindergarten, Junior Kindergarten, half or full-day Kindergarten, and Kindergarten enrichment. We also offer Summer Programs – Hot Stuff Summer Camp for preschool children and a Jump Start Tutorial Program for children entering Kindergarten and 3rd grade. In keeping with our goal to support parents and “the family”, we offer extended school options such as before school hours, “lunch bunch”, and an after-school program for children through 5th grade with optional enrichment classes such as Art, Woodworking, Spanish, Sign Language, Yoga, Cooking, Music, and much more!
The Academy experience enhances all aspects of a child’s development: personal, emotional, social, physical, moral, spiritual, and cognitive. This takes place in an environment rich in comfort and warmth where our faculty and staff members are mentors to our students. Certified teachers guide children with a strong focus on language and early literacy, appreciation of the arts, and character development. Spanish and Music Appreciation classes are part of our exceptional curriculum. ...read more
