School Notes Overview: |
Founded in 1816, we are a family of believers called, like our patron Saint Peter, to be the Rock upon which Jesus built His Church in West Center City. Through reverent liturgy and sacred music, we worship the Living God. Called by the Spirit from diverse locations and cultures, we invite and welcome all people into the life of our community. Nourished by the Eucharist, our mission is to continue to reach out to the needy, to embrace our school children and their families, to serve seniors, and to love one another in imitation of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will erect no boundaries, welcome all seekers, hold back nothing we should share, and rejoice in the differences that make us one. Bonded by love, humility and compassion, we are like the individual pieces of stained glass that surround our sacred space and come together to be pleasing in the sight of God. We prayerfully rely on the wisdom and grace of the Holy Spirit to direct our steps in faith and to use us as witnesses of God’s abiding love. ...read more
