  • The Independence School, an independent, co-educational day school for ages 3 through grade eight, was founded in 1978 by parents seeking a challenging education, strong in the academic subjects, arts, foreign languages, and athletics. Today, the school occupies a 91-acre campus in Newark, Delaware and features a 900-seat auditorium, library/media center, acoustically designed music rooms, science laboratories, a full size gymnasium, community meeting spaces, art rooms and gallery. The School reflects and emphasizes traditional American values in the Judeo-Christian tradition.
