St. John's is a growing elementary school which offers Pre Kindergarten through Grade 8. A part of the Lutheran School System, St. John's Lutheran School is a ministry of St. John's Lutheran Church and an extension of St. John's Early Learning Center (113 Lotus St. Dover). The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod has traditionally placed a very high priority on Christian education. Lutheran Schools, found throughout the United States and also worldwide, have always enjoyed a reputation for nurturing students and their families and for "Sharing the caring Christ." We, at St. John's Lutheran School, believe that each child is a very special and unique gift from God. It is our purpose to provide the children with opportunities to grow and mature as Christian leaders while surrounding them with a caring, family-oriented, professional Christian staff.
