Brighton Preparatory School

4355 Central Avenue, Saint Petersburg, FL, 33713-0337
Brighton's centralized location allows it to attract students from St. Petersburg and the Gulf Beach communities, Seminole, Pinellas Park and Largo.  Parents appreciate Brighton for the safety and security of Brighton's smallness and individualized nature. This offers "peace of mind" to the families. The fundamental style of education in the traditional offerings of Reading and Mathematics and Phonics is another drawing factor.  Brighton specializes in working with students with learning disabilities and  accepts the McKay scholarship.

School Reviews:

  • Recommended February 27,2013 - Brighton is a nuturing, structured wonderful school that helps children get back on track who have fallen behind academically, emotionally and socially. Brighton helped our daughter, who was below grade level, return to grade and beyond. Her confidence grew because of the non judgmental enviroment, letting her work at her own pace and achieve goals we never knew were possible. Brighton also enforced our family beliefs regarding respect, try your best and always be kind to others. Brighton is a family, they were a family to us in time that we felt frustrated and alone with our daughters education. I cannot recommend Brighton enough, Brighton is a hidden treasure in St Petersburg!*-Posted by Parent *
