Covenant Christian School was founded on the conviction that a Christian school is an extension of the Christian family.
The Biblical principles which are taught and lived in the Christian home are honored and reinforced.
We are free to use the Scriptures to evaluate behavior, textbooks and all facets of the ministry.
As a result, we seek to enrich young minds with “whatever is true, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute excellent worthy of praise.” We strive for excellence in all areas spiritual, academic, interpersonal relationships and conduct.
Although CCS is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church, we have students, teachers and school commission members from various Christian denominations.
We emphasize the essentials of the gospel in our chapel service and classroom.
In order to promote unity and minimize division, beliefs not essential for salvation are not stressed.
