Established in 1968, Edison Private School is Hialeah's oldest independent school. The methods and goals of Edison Private School are focused on meeting each child's individual needs. With small student/teacher ratios, our bilingual, degreed teachers are expected to tailor their teaching to each student. Edison Private School is dedicated to providing academic instruction and preparation for responsible citizenship and continues to forge ahead as both a leader in education and in the community. The mission of Edison Private School is to assure the best all around education for its students and to provide a large number of extracurricular classes such as ballet, modeling, etiquette, cheerleading, band, chess, religion, and numerous competitive sports.
