School Notes Overview:

The Growing Place is a part of the Christian education Programs of First United Methodist Church of Coral Gables and welcomes children from all faiths and cultures. We also invite families to participate in the worship services and special programs of the church. Our intent is to guide the children of our school to “learn” through discovery. We provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum for all age groups using Pinnacle Faith Based Program. We believe than when children are allowed to approximate, infer, synthesize, and analyze, information while manipulating objects, learning becomes meaningful. Learning should be a pleasant experience that not only motivates the child, but instills confidence, self- reliance, and independence. Our Christian educators will provide opportunities for your child to grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, physically, and spiritually in a loving, nurturing, stimulating, non-stereotypical anti-bias environment....
