God has blessed us abundantly by giving us the opportunity for my son, Olivier, to attend the best Catholic school in the area (in my opinion!) I have toured many other Catholic schools and we have never felt so welcome as we do here! Every one in the faculty is so kind and helpful. Mary Stalzer, the Principal, greets all of the students each morning in car line with a joyful smile! She has a huge heart for the students, parents, and the entire school! You can definitely tell that she loves the vocation of being a Principal there! She is ALWAYS smiling! As soon as I toured the school, I felt such a warm and inviting feeling. There was no doubt that we had chosen the perfect school for Olivier. The curriculum is extraordinary and Oliver is learning more than I ever thought! His teacher, Mrs Carson, is superb! She is always updating the parents on what they are working on and learning. She always returns my emails promptly. Olivier loves her! The staff is very down-to-earth, yet very respectful! Rose and Linda at the front office are extremely helpful and kind! All of the parents that I come in contact with rave about this school. No disrespect is ever tolerated in the classroom. Olivier loves it here! He felt so welcome since his first day.

When we moved down from MI 5 years ago, we made appointments to check out many schools. Guardian Angels were the first, and my husband went on his own. After, he called to tell me to cancel the other appointments! We knew instantly. Our daughter started in 6 grade and had the best experience! She was challenged and supported academically, so she excelled. She played every sport (so many offered!). And her faith in God was nurtured, a faith that she has continues in her high school years. (As a bit of an introvert, I credit GACS for helping her come out of her shell!) Our son is in second grade and also excelling! Having worked there occasionally as a sub, I can tell you they are a vibrant faculty and staff, who love their jobs and even more, their students! There is generous financial assistance available thanks to kind benefactors who also believe in GACS. This school is a true gem!

I have been blessed to serve as a Catholic school teacher for 27 years - 20 years at Guardian Angels! Throughout those years I've had the honor and privilege of teaching children that would go on to become doctors, nurses, lawyers, entrepreneurs, teachers, business professionals, and priests to name only a few. Guardian Angels is truly a special place. I began my time there as a fourth-grade teacher. I currently teach Middle School language arts. My own three children graduated from Guardian Angels, so as a parent and educator, I can say with certainty that Guardian Angels' approach to education is to teach the whole child - mind, body, and spirit. We partner with parents, creating a homeschool connection that reinforces the values and virtues taught at home. The feeling of community is nurtured - which is critical for student success. Our teachers are highly qualified professionals, and faithful role models dedicated to the students. In recent years we received accreditation as a STREAM school... the first school to achieve this in our diocese. The acronym stands for science, technology, religion, engineering, the arts, and mathematics. What does this mean for students? All of our teachers infuse this approach into daily lessons so that students are exposed to multiple subjects within a lesson in order to see the connectivity in the real world. Students no longer see concepts in isolation. This approach facilitates the integration of the timeless truths of our faith, the innovation of science, math, and technology, and the beauty and creativity of the arts. Each one is an integral component in school and real-world situations, preparing our students for high school and beyond. At Guardian Angels, we live our mission statement: we are a Catholic family centered on Christ striving for academic excellence, faithful service to others, and the celebration of each unique child. I have called Guardian Angels home for 20 years. I invite you to learn more about our wonderful school.

Our grandchildren currently attend Guardian Angels. Many years ago our son- and daughter-in-law graduated from GACS. We highly recommend this school to anyone pursues a Christian education in a faith-filled atmosphere. Mrs. Stalzer is 110% dedicated to her job as principal and has accomplished STREAM certification, one of the few middle schools in the state to have this achievement. If you are looking for a quality education, smaller school feeling, high parental involvement, beautiful campus, I could go on and on tour the school and experience this yourself.

We have been a Guardian Angels family for almost 13 years! Our children have excelled at this wonderful school where they are safe, loved and well-prepared for high school when they graduate 8th grade. Our oldest child went right into the IB Program and is thriving in high school. This school has the support of four local parishes, St. Michael the Archangel, St. Luke the Evangelist, All Saints and St. Ignatius of Antioch. The parents are happy to be involved and it makes such a difference to the community we share.
