Evelyn Brunn was the first bride to be married in the Blessed Sacrament Church when, on Oct. 18, 1947, she walked down the aisle at nearby St. Mark's Church and tied the knot with Fred Brunn. Blessed Sacrament was so new then it hadn't yet been blessed by the bishop. On Sunday, the widow, now 79, walked down the aisle of Blessed Sacrament one last time.
