Montessori Children's House continues to fulfill its dutiful commitment to its students by providing dedicated long term AMS and/or PAMS certified teachers in all of its classrooms.
It's Owner and Director, Melanie Samuelson, is an AMS Certified Montessori Directress/teacher since 1986.
She has devoted more than thirty years to teaching small children and administrating a quality school.
The School prides itself on upholding its ethics, principles and foundations as inspired by the ideology of the Montessori founder, Maria Montessori.
The Montessori materials and classroom program allow each child to experience the excitement of learning by his own choice rather than being coerced.
The program helps the child to perfect his or her natural skills for learning so that his or her ability will be at a maximum in future learning situations.
The purpose of the Montessori materials is for the child to develop his concentration, coordination and positive working habits in preparation for his future learning experiences.
The school offers a Montessori acedemic program with numerous extra-curricular activities including Spanish/French classes, ballet, gymnastics, and a fitness/nutrition program.
A licensed School Psychologist, Speech and Language Pathologist, Occupational Therapist and Physical Therapist are affiliated with the school for in house screenings and additional therapy if needed.

Every child is afforded the opportunity to realize, develop and achieve his or her own special abilities leading toward a solid foundation for his or her future learning potential and successful accomplishments. The School prides itself on upholding its ethics, principles and foundations as inspired by the ideology of the Montessori founder, Maria Montessori. The Montessori materials and classroom program allow each child to experience the excitement of learning by his own choice rather than being coerced. The program helps the child to perfect his or her natural skills for learning so that his or her ability will be at a maximum in future learning situations. The purpose of the Montessori materials is for the child to develop his concentration, coordination and positive working habits in preparation for his future learning experiences. The school has implemented numerous security cameras inside and outside the entire campus. Entrance into the school is by buzzer only. The large shaded playground has a rubber mulch foundation, water fountain and is continually updated. The students arrive and depart via the three covered drive throughs in the rear of the school under the supervision of the entire school's staff. Montessori Children's House has an active Parent Teacher Organization which chooses the school's in house field trips, organizes most of the events and provides interested parents the ability to volunteer in school activities.
