Rabbi Alexander Gross High School

2425 Pine Tree Drive, Miami Beach, FL, 33140-0331
The Rabbi Alexander Gross High School is committed to an education that transmits not only content knowledge and skills, but is infused with values and character development. The Academy attempts to meet the challenge of instilling the best of Western values through the eyes of Torah. Central to our educational program are a belief in the centrality of the State of Israel, the love of one Jew for another and the student's responsibility to the Jewish Community (K'lal Yisrael). We are dedicated to making Hebrew an integral vehicle of instruction in all Judaic studies, through its integration wherever possible into the classroom and school environment. Our entire learning environment is suffused with service learning. Students of the Hebrew Academy are taught to synthesize their Torah values and learning with the finest values of our democratic society. We strive to imbue our students with a love for life-long learning and to give them the desire and the tools to be independent learners. We seek to prepare and develop our students for advanced studies beyond High School, and to enable them to continue their education in virtually any field of study they may elect, in the Yeshiva, Seminary, College or University of their choice.
