Williams, who played five seasons of professional basketball (CBA, ABA, IBA), as well as with the Harlem Globetrotters, Harlem Legends and Harlem Ambassadors, will serve as the assistant basketball coach and recruiting coordinator for the CFCC women’s program.

    By Byron Saucer Staff writer Shores Christian Academy graduates Cory Smothers and Khristian Roberts both signed basketball scholarships last week. Smothers, a 2008 Shores graduate, signed with Merritt College in Oakland, Calif. The T-Birds were 18-12 on the junior college circuit last year.
