St. Mark's Episcopal School
School Notes Overview:
Our students at St. Mark's Episcopal School are regarded as the chief beneficiaries and principal heirs of Knowledge, Honor, Faith, Integrity and Service. These five fundamental elements are the holistic basis of our academic environment and the common extension of the Spirit's drive for excellence not only in mind, but within our society as well.
Our conviction is for a positive approach and loving application to tasks that enhance our students' educative skills. We strive to instill a love for lifelong learning within each child. Our focus is for students to be able to comprehend, figure, calculate, express, and create. Mechanistic limitation is just that. We at St. Mark's hope to inspire that "the how" is just as important as the goal of the task itself. Our children learn that failure is nothing to be feared. We learn from our mistakes and move on with a sense of accomplishment and security. Finally, we aim to infect our students with the realization that education is not only an enticing adventure, but a celebratory pleasure as well.
You are encouraged to contact the Admissions Office to learn more about our exceptional community and what we offer. I look forward to meeting you soon!
