Llamas and Learning Montessori School on the Farm! We are dedicated to providing excellence in early education. Our program currently serves children from 6 months of age through 1st grade. Under the guidance of certified Montessori teachers in fully equipped classrooms, children progress with confidence using specially designed Montessori materials at a pace comfortable for each child's own abilities. We strive to maintain a prepared environment which will present children with materials that will aid the child’s own discoveries, together with loving and observant help from the teacher to direct his path of self discovery, this is at the heart of what is called the "Montessori Method." We have many animals in which the children are able to interact with daily on the playground as well as in their classrooms. When children learn to respect and care for other creatures, they are really forming a base of self-knowledge which opens up the world for them. The love and fascination developed in early childhood will last a lifetime. We want their experiences to be as meaningful as we can help them to be. We encourage parents to read one of the many books, which illuminate Maria Montessori's methods and thought....
