Parkway Christian School is a private school owned and operated by Parkway Christian Church. Operating since 2000, we provide a complete quality education for pre-school. Our Mission is to provide a sound academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world based on the authoritative Word of God. This private, non-profit program exists in partnership with the home and the church. PCES will strive to train each student to integrate the absolute truth of God into every area of life, to equip them to be fully mature in Christ, so that students may manifest a Christ-likeness in character, conduct, and knowledge of the world in which they live. The teachers also use educationally-based centers and computers. The school participates in the Reading Across Broward and Book-It programs; both are designed to encourage reading at home by parents and students. The school also participates in Accelerated Reader and Scholastic Reading Counts. These programs reinforce reading comprehension and computer skills. Our students also participate in a science program that encourages hands on science experiments at school and at home. Our Philosophy As members of the Christian Church, we confess that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God, and proclaim Him Lord and Savior of the world. In Christ's name and by His grace, we accept our mission of witness and service to all people. One of these ministries is Parkway Christian School. We are devoted to the excellence in the spiritual development of the children attending as well as their educational development.
