Alpharetta International Academy is a montessori school dedicated to working together with parents to develop the potential of each child. Founded in 1981 we have been serving the Alpharetta community for over 20 years. We offer classes for children ages 18 months through 9 years old, which include Pre-Primary for ages 1.5 - 3 years, Primary for children ages 2.5 - 6 years and Elementary for 1st, 2nd and 3rd graders. Our mission is to maintain montessori standards with a well-prepared classroom; to emphasize the acquisition of critical early childhood learning skills; to utilize the child's need for movement and exploration within their sphere of learning; to instill a love of learning; to teach children to respect and care for their environment; to guide children in social responsibility and citizenship; to provide a cultural and creative atmosphere for appreciation of the arts; and to work together with parents to guide the children in ethical disciplines of honesty and integrity.
