School Notes Overview: |
Montessori is a unique approach to child development and early learning, and Renaissance is a unique community within the Montessori tradition. Under Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) directories and guidance, we offer a carefully prepared environment and curriculum with which we help each child to realize his or her many individual potentialities (intellectual, social, moral, artistic), and in so doing create a joy of learning. When one experiences joy in the learning process, one becomes a lifelong seeker of knowledge. In working to develop the innate abilities of each child, we seek to allow the child to pursue a productive course of life, showing his or her natural excellence in the intellectual, social, and moral spheres. In nurturing the growth and development of each child, we strive to develop parental understanding of Montessori principles, parental involvement, an excellent faculty, and an atmosphere of courtesy and respect for individuals, both child and adult.
