Perhaps it was the country's largest all-girl marching band rocking Kalakaua Avenue with its rocking rendition of Earth Wind and Fire's "September." The first Mike Sakamoto Memorial Scholarship Fishing Tournament, an event held in the memory of a fishing icon and to raise scholarship money, will be held Sept. 18 to 20 on O'ahu's shorelines.
