NAMPA — Nampa Art Guild's 47th annual Spring Show runs May 14-18 at the Nampa Civic Center. The event kicks off with an opening night reception on Thursday. This year's show features between 90 and 100 pieces of artwork in a wide range of mediums. Judging this year's entrants is Frank Tuning. He taught art and crafts for 30 years at Burns (Ore.) NAMPA — Kesler Thueson singled in Stuart Beswick in the bottom of the seventh, lifting Nampa to a 1-0 win over Kuna in 4A SIC baseball. Beswick earned the win on the hill in the pitcher's duel, giving up just one hit. Thueson finished with a pair of hits for Nampa (2-12, 4-22).
