Averroes Academy is an elementary school dedicated to the education of children to produce exemplary students in all aspects of life, addressing spiritual and secular aspects with an all-encompassing curriculum. The foregoing Islamic precepts underlie the values of the North Shore Education Foundation (NSEF) in its establishment of a full-time parochial school in the North Shore area of Chicago. Realizing that education is one of the most fundamental values and obligations for the Muslim community, NSEF has taken the lead to establish a school which will provide a high standard education, along side traditional Islamic sciences.
