Berean Christian School (BCS) is a ministry of the Edgemont Bible Church (EBC). The Berean Christian School Board and teaching staff support the Fundamentals of the Faith defined by the church. All Board and staff members are/must be members in good standing of the Edgemont Bible Church. The school was founded by J. Darrel Handel, a former pastor of the EBC. The school staff has challenged the students to use their God-given abilities by establishing high academic, spiritual, and Biblical moral standards. The center of the school is our Lord Jesus Christ, and the education and spiritual growth of the student is our primary concern. The BCS Board strives to hire the most qualified instructors who are dedicated to guide the student in his or her growth of Christian living. We have graduated numerous students over the past 27 years who have competed equally with, or exceeded, peers from public schools on college entrance examinations. God has continued to bless their lives following college graduation in professional, technical, and self-employment vocations.
